Recent Events

On 1st July 2009, the Oxford University Society in Paris, in partnership with the CNRS Alumni Association organized a colloquium, followed by a Garden Party, at the UK Embassy in Paris, on the following topic :
« Scientific Research in a Global Context »

The guest speakers were :
Professor Ian WALMSLEY, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research, Oxford University
Dr. Arnold MIGUS, Director General, CNRS

The event was hosted by Her Majesty’s Ambassador in Paris, Sir Peter WESTMACOTT, and attended by over two hundred participants, members of the Oxford University Society in Paris, the Cambridge University Society in Paris and the CNRS Alumni Association.
